A standing desk mat is not a new invention, as well as at least the flat version. These are commonly known as anti-fatigue mats. In recent years they have been used in a variety of industries, many of which have recently found their way into home kitchens. Flat anti-fatigue mats are made from various materials including PVC foam and polyurethane. With the rise of best standing desks mats there was a need to create a more comfortable standing option. Over the years, as the standing desk market has matured, products used with standing desks have also evolved. Topo standing desk mats or non-flat standing desk mats are the most recent development in this category. To promote movement with the use of various shapes and elevation changes, the Topo Standing Desk Mats have been made more fun. 1. Gelpro Eco Pro Anti-Fatigue Mat Our number one rated flat standing desk mat was for the Gailpro Eco Pro 2019. The only mat we tested was 100% made in the USA, the Echo Pro being almost the perfect mat. The Eco Pro is manufactured from high quality polyurethane with no vinyl layering required for extra durability. Through the injection molding process, the mat is heated on the outer surfaces to create a thick and flexible integral skin. This gives the skin all the protection a soft core needs, while still providing the right amount of buoyancy to maintain proper ergonomic principles. The most comfortable mat to easily stand on, it is luxurious with boots and bare feet. Higher quality is also higher than average price tag. While this may not come as a surprise to those who already own this mat, the fact that it only comes with a five-year warranty was disappointing. Looking closely at the fine print, you will find that the warranty only covers 80% of the matte value after the first year. By the time you reach the final year of warranty, you can only expect to get 20% of the Eco Pro's price back. While this mat is likely to avoid average misbehavior from an office worker, we tested for half the price of several mats standing, including a better warranty than the Echo Pro. 2. Imprint CumulusPro ™ anti-fatigue mat The Imprint CumulousPRO Flat Mat was below our best price on the list. With a lifetime warranty that will either provide or provide a full refund to the end user at any point during ownership. While other options were offered lifetime warranties, Imprint is the only company to have clout and history to return their guarantee. Unfortunately, a mat that falls under $ 40 may not be correct. With reports of peeling off the top layer of vinyl, you will want to make sure that you register for that lifetime warranty. While I enjoyed Kamulaspro's experience, some may feel that the mat is firm to his preference. Overall, this is a product that should be considered during your search for a minimal flat anti-fatigue mat. 3. Sky Anti-Fatty Mat by Sky Solutions The Sky Flat Standing Desk Mat by Sky Solutions was a surprise topic for me. While it is currently the number one sold anti-fatigue mat on Amazon, I still had some doubts. This mat also comes with a lifetime warranty, but unlike CumulousPro, they do not offer a full return ten years down the road. This is fine though, as CumulousPro's warranty was on top. This provides sufficient support to prevent standing in shoes or barefoot. By using a lower quality PVC foam, its foam is more prone to breakage than Sky Mat's high quality polyurethane foam alternatives. Even with the drawbacks, the Sky Mat was a great value in the Flat Mat category. 4. Original The ”Kangaroo Anti-fatigue Mat For those, who are really looking for a mat for a "cushion", the Kangaroo is your ticket. This was easily the softest standing desk mat we tested that did not bottom with the shoes. The original kangaroo comes with a ten-year warranty that will replace your mat due to a manufacturer malfunction, no questions asked. I personally found the kangaroo to be a bit soft. Without shoes, I found myself out of the fold, especially when putting weight on my heel. Without proper buoyancy, I found that it caused fatigue during testing and was difficult to use consistently. Its three-layer construction was similar to that of Sky Mat, but used less dense PVC foam. The density reduction with this low-quality PVC foam was slight for extended use. I am not sure how it would be for power users who stand for three to four hours a day. Although the kangaroo mat can certainly be used in the office, it is a superior product for kitchen applications. 5.Gelpro Designer Comfort Anti-Physics Mat While the Gelpro designer Comfort Mat was not as classy as the Matte, the Eco Pro, but that didn't mean it was a bad product. The Designer Comfort was the softest mat I tested below with no shoes or bare feet. Made from high quality polyurethane, Designer Comfort had a good amount of buoyancy, with a layer of vinyl for durability. It is the second mat to hit the United States-made list. Designer Comfort would have been high on our list if it had not come up with one of the worst warranties in the category. With only one year's coverage from Gelpro, it was a disappointment. Using a two-layer construction, vinyl top coats are a major concern and they are known to peel off over time. With so much similarity from CumulousPro, it can be difficult to justify the high price tag unless you want a soft mat made in the United States.
